How to read this
The average is the annualized midpoint of every reported range: hourly, daily, weekly and monthly figures are converted to a yearly equivalent before averaging, and a range contributes the midpoint of its own minimum and maximum. A posting that states no salary contributes nothing, which is why the coverage figure above matters as much as the average — an average over a small share of postings describes those postings, not the market.
Salaries are read from the posting text and from structured fields where the source provides them. CanWork never estimates a salary a posting does not state.

By experience level
Level is stated by the posting or inferred from its title; postings that state no seniority stay “Not specified” rather than being folded into an entry-level bucket.
